Koi No Yokan (Japanese):
“The sense upon first meeting a person that the two of you are going to fall into love.
This is different than “love at first sight,” since it implies that you might have a sense of imminent love, somewhere down the road, without yet feeling it. The term captures the intimation of inevitable love in the future, rather than the instant attraction implied by love at first sight.”
On hindsight, everything is seen in 20/20 vision and suddenly the weird feeling you got whenever they were around, or the way you could never completely look them in the eye, or the way you never realised you were holding your breath when you wait for their reply, or how you always took extra pains to look better when you knew they would be around, or how their opinion always mattered more than a close friend’s should, all makes perfect sense now.
